 IDEA

According to our task each of students created whatever object made by using laser cutter machine. My own idea was to make clock because I had already clock mechanism to use. So, I decided to make the dial for the watch that I will use in the dometery. I chose plywood as a material because its more flexible steady than plastic.

 

 

 

DESIGN PROJECT

Firstly, I had some sketches of the final object . I chose the simplest and concise design. After the sketch was ready, I found the geometry of the model and draw it with dimensions in AutoCAD. Finished dwg-file was opened with software and send to laser printing. The first details were uncorrected and my first model was not able to fold. I remade the gaps in fold and tried one more time. Finally it was done well. What is important in design project is to сalculate the thickness of plywood for press fit elements. 

 

Notice: If the machine has not cut elements enough , do not move them to cut one more time in the same position)
